one’s physiological gender. This is related to the word for ‘woman’ macēna. Aside from female (sacēneþa jacēna) and male (sacēneþa jacūma), one can also be hermaphroditic (sacēneþa tēna) and neuter or genderless (sacēneþa wā).

  1. There are neutered people, there are people who seem to have no or little sex-drive, there are the androgynous, which might be considered gender-neutral rather than having both genders. Having four genders doesn’t mean that people are distributed equally among them. The vast majority fall under female and male.
